Every Unit Comprehensively Tested after Manufacture. The SolidOptics WS-G5484-SO 1G GBIC optical transceivers are designed for Storage, IP network and LAN. It is a fully integrated 1 Gb/s optical transceiver module. This module is designed for multimode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The transmitter section uses a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitted Laser (VCSEL). The transmitter section uses a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitted Laser (VCSEL). A PECL input /output logic interface is used. TTL RX-LOS output simplifies interface to external circuitry.
